The Room Layout Of The Entire Bunker

It seems that Hitler was satisfied with the layout of the Vorbunker, as he wanted the Tiefbunker to be almost one to one replica of it. The inner walls of the Tiefbunker all collapsed in 1947 during an attempt to demolish the Fuehrer Bunker. For this reason there were no details of the Tiefbunker’s internal layout in the survey carried out by the East German secret service in 1973. The rooms in the bunker used by Hitler himself were, however, photographed between 1945 and 1947, allowing us to make a fair reconstruction of the South Western area of the Tiefbunker. But exact measurements are only known for Hitler’s office.
